UX Researcher · Human Factors Engineer
Designing empowering digital experiences, driven by people.
A decade across academic HCI, socially impactful design, and safety-critical engineering — using participatory, user-centred methods to build systems that are equitable, intuitive, and grounded in real life.
A little about me
I treat design as a situated, reflective process — shaped by people, systems, and context.
I'm a UX researcher and human factors specialist with experience spanning academic HCI and applied engineering. My work bridges research and practice — from children's digital health and participatory design with gorillas, to large-scale engineered systems involving human-machine interfaces.
Depending on the challenge, I shift roles: advocating for user-centred practice, enabling under-represented groups to become user-leaders, or deliberately surfacing bias to challenge inherited assumptions. Each project is an attempt to use design not just to solve problems, but to ask better questions.
